Bi Polar Disorder
The person whom has Bi Polar Disorder will have periods of manic behavior and severe depression. These moods can change over a short or long period of time and last any where from weeks to months. Our recommended treatment is a good stable counseling schedule and at times some medications may be prescribed.
Bi Polar Highs:

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) occurs in response to an extraordinary trauma. Some of the symptoms of PTSD are:
· Emotional numbness

· Poor impulse control

· Aggression

· Violence

· Depression

· Substance abuse
These symptoms are brought on by flashbacks where the patient re-experiences the event that happened, (combat, rape, etc.) PTSD is treated with behavior therapy, cognitive therapy and medications. PTSD can be disabling, if you believe you suffer from this disorder, AMOP can help you.
